Mandatory:
B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or a relevant discipline
Must be NET/GATE qualified
Minimum academic score:
General category: CGPA 7.0 (or 70%)
OBC/EWS category: CGPA 6.5 (or 65%)
SC/ST/PWD category: CGPA 6.0 (or 60%)
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of antenna design and signal processing
Understanding of semiconductor devices (added advantage)
Candidates with a relevant master's or higher degree will be preferred
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:
Beam-forming antenna design
Direction finding algorithm (MUSIC)
Semiconductor device fabrication
This research project focuses on radar signal detection and direction finding, crucial for both military defense and civilian applications. Traditional electromagnetic detection faces challenges with long-distance signal weakening. However, the innovative use of spintronics devices in this project allows for efficient electromagnetic power detection with properly designed and biased systems. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of indigenous radar technology.
